Thanks to Melissa (and her hubby) for hosting our first book club last night! I had so much fun! Ali, you really need a record contract! :)
Our next book will be Water for Elephants. I ordered mine today from AMAZON (NOT Barnes and Noble) and hope to get started soon! Maybe I can finish this one!?

Weekend!

All this sunshine and beautiful weather and the countdown to Spring Break just make me want to read Beach Trip even more! I finally got started this week. A slow start, but a start. I love it so far. I love the characters how they are all very different, but share a common thread. I am wondering:
1. Who is the character you most identify with and why?
2. Do you like the writing style?
3. What one thing has made you get hooked into reading?

Hello ladies! Our first book will be Beach Trip by Cathy Holton. Looks like a good book to get us started. We will take about 4-5 weeks to read and then decide on a meeting date and time. Melissa got her copy tonight, and I just ordered mine online.

Maybe I've had too much time on my hands lately, but I think a book club would be TONS of fun! Melissa and I are discussing books that we can read and share once every 4-6 weeks. It's been a hard decision since Melissa has read every book that is in print! LOL Anyway, I hope this is a good reason to get a great book in my hands and to plan some fun evenings together in the future! I'm super excited to get addicted to Fiction Addiction!
